Marrickville is a suburb in the Inner West of Sydney, in the allow in of New South Wales, Australia. Marrickville is located 7 kilometres (4 miles) south-west of the Sydney central thing district and is the largest suburb in the Inner West Council local executive area.
Marrickville sits upon the northern bank of the Cooks River, opposite Earlwood and shares borders once Stanmore, Enmore, Newtown, St Peters, Sydenham, Tempe, Dulwich Hill, Hurlstone Park and Petersham.
